I Enjoy Orthodontics & Am Passionate About What I Do

Working with patients to create beautiful smiles is what I enjoy! Having grown up in Toowoomba, I am pleased to be able to offer my skills and services as an orthodontist to the Darling Downs region.

Qualifications

I attended high school at St. Mary’s College in Toowoomba and went on to complete my 5 year dental degree (with first class Honours) at the University of Queensland.  After graduating, I worked in private practice in both Toowoomba and Brisbane before undertaking my specialist orthodontic training. I am a registered orthodontic specialist, having completed an additional 3 year Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) at the University of Queensland. I hold memberships and affiliations with the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Orthodontists, Australian Orthodontic Board, Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), and Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. When I’m not enjoying clinical practice, I’m a keen academic. I have published numerous scientific papers in orthodontic journals and enjoy keeping abreast with the current literature.

My Philosophy

I believe firmly in keeping up-to-date with the latest research and technology so to provide my patients with the best possible orthodontic care. I am committed to continuing education and hence regularly read and attend orthodontic conferences. By nature, I am meticulous and a perfectionist, and am committed to getting all my patients an excellent result! I also believe that I am only as good as my staff. I am blessed to have lovely, caring, and friendly support staff who make work a breeze and memorable everyday.

When I’m Not Working!

Outside of orthodontics I enjoy fitness and spending time with family and friends.
