Your initial consultation will be free*. At this appointment our orthodontist will give you an idea of what is needed and an estimate of the cost of your treatment. After a specific diagnosis and plan is made, we will then give you a written fee quote.

Every treatment plan is different. For this reason, it can be tricky to provide an estimate of the cost of your braces without an initial consultation. Fees vary depending on the severity of the case, the method of treatment, and the anticipated treatment duration.

However, our standard braces fee is only $9500*.

If minor treatment (such as a space maintainer, plate or an expander) is needed on the other hand, fees vary from $350 to $4000*.

We have a standard clear aligner fee of $10,500*.

Our quote is all-inclusive with no hidden extras: it covers your braces, all your orthodontic visits, and even retainers after treatment and their supervision and maintenance for up to 6 months!

For your convenience, we accept bank transfers, direct debit, cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard and cheque. We also have HICAPS facilities to process health fund rebates instantly in the clinic.

At Westside Orthodontics Toowoomba, we understand that payment plans are important. Therefore, we offer tailored INTEREST FREE payment plans with even a $0 DEPOSIT. We use a third party provider called DentiCare®. On the day of your braces on appointment our helpful receptionists will help you set it up.

Private health funds often cover a significant portion of the fee. The rebate usually depends on your level of cover and the health fund you’re with. As all health funds are different, we recommend checking with your health fund prior to beginning treatment.

If you are under the care of the department of child safety, treatment may be covered. After a proper diagnosis and treatment plan are made, Dr. Devan (Orthodontist) will submit paperwork to your Child Safety Officer (CSO) and Child Safety Service Centre outlining the need for braces. After approval, treatment at Westside Orthodontics Toowoomba will be covered by the department.

You may be able to access your super early to pay for braces. If you are deemed to have chronic pain (pain of at least 3 months duration) associated with your teeth due to crowding you may be eligible. Please see the ATO website for information. We will provide you with a medical report and a quote to submit and if successful you will be able to access your super early to pay for treatment given braces is not readily available through the public health system here in the Darling Downs.
