Westside Orthodontics will reopen on Monday the 27th of April 2020!
We've been given authority by the Prime Minister to operate under 'level 2 restrictions'. This means the provision of dental treatments that are unlikely to generate aerosols.
We will be seeing patients who are in treatment for their adjustment appointments (this includes Braces, Invisalign, Twin Block, Upper Removable Appliance (URA), RME (Expander), and Active Truform patients) and those with simple orthodontic emergencies (i.e. a lost module, broken powerchain, or a sharp wire). We will not be performing band ups (putting braces on), debands (taking braces off), and fixing up broken brackets (bracket emergencies) as these are aerosolizing procedures.
You don't need to do anything. We will be in contact to rebook your appointment :).
Thereafter, depending on advice from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), the National Cabinet, and the Australian Dental Association (ADA), we hope to reopen for 'business as usual' and all orthodontic appointments.
Thank you everyone for your patience!
