1. After you've turned the expander for the recommended number of days, stop.
2. Don't worry about leaving it in place, the longer we hold the expansion the more stable it becomes.
3. When we reopen Dr. Devan will see you to check the amount of expansion. If its enough, he'll 'tie the expander off'; if not, he'll ask you to continue.
4. No one should have turned the expander for more than 6 weeks unsupervised. If you have, stop immediately and wait for Dr. Devan to check things when we reopen.
